Monday Mingle: Blogger Fun at CAbi Scoop in San Diego

A little over a week ago, our lovely beauty editor, Annelis and I embarked on a whirlwind trip to San Diego to attend the Scoop event put on by the clothing brand CAbi. Through it's personal consultants, CAbi can brings its gorgeous line to you through private parties. You can learn even more about the brand over at their blog, the CAbi Canary! After seeing their designs on the runway, I can honestly say that there were several pieces from their spring collection that I wanted to snatch up. There is a pair lemon skinnies and...

Juicy Fruit: Wearing Citrus Hues

We had one beautiful weekend here in Tampa lovelies! Although, I was inside with the my sick little dude for most of it, we were able to get out and enjoy the lovely temps a bit yesterday and you know what? That Florida sunshine has inspired me to bust out the citrus hues! Tory Burch and Michael Kors sent some gorgeous, juicy hues down their spring runways and there's no reason we can't draw inspiration from them when putting together a look that's a bit more budget friendly! Lemon and orange are my colors of choice...

Five Dresses, Four Spring Trends

On Saturday I told y'all about my mission to score some dresses from the Target Go International Designer Collective. Well, I"m happy to announce that my mission was a resounding success! Not only do I have five fabulous new dresses to get all dolled up in, but I'll be rockin' some of the hottest spring trends as well. As much as I've proclaimed that I'm not a slave to trends, I'm loving so many of them this season AND the fall season that will be headed our way before we know it! Color Block Tara Jarmon for...

Champagne Saturday Revisited

As I gear up to head to Target tomorrow for the re-elease of 34 dresses from their Go International designer collaborations, I thought it would be a good time to look back on one of my favorite Target/designer collab scores. This Liberty of London for Target maxi dress is from a Champagne Saturday post almost a year ago. I wore that bad boy like it was going out of style last spring and summer and I'm planning on doing so again this season. The fabric is nice to the touch, which isn't always the case...

Spring Florals

via style.com The Dolce & Gabbana Spring 2011 Ready-to-Wear collection was a sea of chic black and white pieces with some florals generously sprinkled in. And the florals were what really grabbed me. It could be that I'm just super psyched to welcome spring, but as I was looking at the collection again, the little girl in me came out and that little girl just wants a pretty floral frock! Here are a few that would make me feel like a natural woman...

Stepping Out in My KM2 Shoes

Last week I had the opportunity to attend my second Fashion's Night Out at Neiman Marcus. Getting a night off from toddler duty was enough of a draw alone, but add free cocktails, gorgeous duds and time with some gal pals and this mama was one happy camper! The evening offered up everything from a celebrity chef demo, to a fashion show and outta this world delicious cotton candy martinis. It was also the perfect occasion for me to bust out my fabulous feather bedecked KM2 shoes. I can't tell me how many people, of...

Denim Diva

Check out how the lovely lady behind Momtrends rocked her fabulous Geox footwear all over NYC during fashion week! My denim inspiration as posted over at Fashion Cappuccino last fall! Last year denim button downs were all the rage and they aren't exactly irrelevant this year. Denim is once again a hot spring look and I, for one, am definitely going to take advantage of the trend this season! Whether I finally find and rock that perfect denim shirt that's been eluding me, 70s style wide legs or, perhaps, even a denim frock, you can expect...
